Sarnia Woman Charged in Niagara Falls Shooting

A 26-year-old Sarnia woman has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Niagara Falls.

Felicia Joan Marie Dion is one of three suspects being held for a double-shooting at a Niagara Falls hotel. The Niagara Regional Police Service says the incident occurred around 3:30am Sunday in one of the guest rooms.

Dion is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, robbery with a firearm and forcible confinement.

The NRPS says the other two suspects are 41-year-old Oliver Jermaine Slowley and 23-year-old Shyheim Dejuans Slowley Bailey, both of St. Catharines.

One of the gunshot victims has been released from hospital. The other is at an out-of-region hospital in serious condition, according to a release from the NRPS.

All three suspects are due to appear at a bail hearing Monday in St. Catharines.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
