Sting Muzzle Bulldogs 4-2 in Hamilton

Adam Ruzicka scored twice as the Sarnia Sting beat the Bulldogs 4-2 in Hamilton Sunday night.

The Sting keep pace with the first-place Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the OHL West Division standings, remaining ten points back with 71.

Jonathan Ang opened the scoring for Sarnia at 4:48 in the first period, his 18th goal of the season.

Hamilton tied the game just after the start of the second period, with Brandon Saigeon the goal scorer. The Sting regained the lead on Jordan Kyrou's 26th goal of the year, a power play tally. Before the second intermission, however, Arthur Kaliyev knotted the score again for the Bulldogs.

Ruzicka's goals came back-to-back in the third period.

Justin Fazio stopped 39 shots out of a possible 41 in the net for Sarnia. Kaden Fulcher had 21 saves for Hamilton.

The Sting travel to Windsor Thursday night to take on the Spitfires.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
