Mental Health Advocate Making Return Visit

Canadian sports journalist and mental health advocate Michael Landsberg is making another visit to Sarnia-Lambton.

The Petrolia Minor Hockey Association in partnership with St. Clair Child and Youth Services are bringing the TSN announcer to Victoria Hall March 6.

Landsberg delivers an honest personal account of mental health struggles, encouraging dialogue and the elimination of stereotypes.

He shared his ‘Sick Not Weak’ message in Sarnia last October at the fifth annual Bluewater Health Foundation fundraising gala.

Tickets are $20 and go on sale Friday, February 2 at 10am at the VPP box office and can be purchased by phone, in person or online at  www.thevpp.ca.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
