Road Closure At Bluewater Health Tuesday

The final phase of installation of a new chiller at Bluewater Health takes place Tuesday, March 13.

A large crane and four transport trucks will be on site for the installation in the hospital's penthouse mechanical room.

Norman St. will be closed to through traffic between London Rd. and Maria St. between 7am and 4pm.

Access will remain open for ambulances approaching from London Rd., the businesses at London Rd. and Norman St., and the Bluewater Health staff parking lot on Norman St.

There are no disruptions to hospital services, but anyone coming by car to the emergency department should approach from Russell St. onto Maria St. and then to Norman St.

There will be no pull-up, drop-off location available during construction.

Chiller installation began in February.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
