A 41-year-old Lambton Shores man has been charged with possession of child pornography and failing to comply with recognizance. Joseph Wayne Sergeant was arrested after a search warrant was executed at a residence March 21. Police say cellphones were seized. Members of the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, Digital Forensics and the Lambton County detachment began their investigation following a report from a social media outlet that images of child sexual abuse had been uploaded from the internet.
