It's scheduled to last nearly two months with an estimated 800 contractors involved. Area residents have been notified that they may see an increase in flaring and noise from the refinery. Shell says there'll be continuous monitoring of air quality and noise levels, and silencers will be put on equipment to help lessen the impact on St. Clair Township and Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
