Renovation Fire At Eastland Centre (GALLERY)

Sarnia Fire and Rescue responded to a renovation fire at Eastland Centre on Indian Rd. around the noon hour Wednesday.

Public Safety Officer Mike Otis says it wasn't a serious fire but it was a tricky one to put out.

"Essentially it was a small, really stubborn fire and it was hard to get to because it was between flooring and walls," says Otis. "So it took a while to get to the source and extinguish it."

No injuries were reported and the business park was closed for a short period of time.
