Petrolia, Oil Springs Featured In Boston Globe

It's a rare occurrence but two Lambton County communities are featured in the Boston Globe newspaper. Travel writer Claudia Capos from Brighton, Michigan visited Oil Springs and Petrolia in March, because she was interested in telling the story of the area's rich oil history. With the help of Fairbank Oil and the Oil Museum of Canada as well as the town of Petrolia, she and her husband were given the grand tour of several facilities, and basically given the royal treatment. Her article highlighting the significance of Canada's Black Gold Rush was featured in the April 24 edition of the paper.
