June Court Date Set In Warwick Murder Investigation

A 34-year-old Lambton County woman charged with murder in the death of a man in the village of Warwick has another court date next month.

Tina George is remanded out of custody until June 18 to answer to a charge of second-degree murder.

George was arrested Sunday, April 29 following the death of 29-year-old Jesse Storr.

The father of three was found in a home on Egremont Rd. at around 2:30pm after OPP had responded to a report of an injured man.

Storr was treated by paramedics and later died of his injuries.

Police have not released the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing.

George was granted bail on Monday.

There is a publication ban prohibiting the reporting of any evidence or presentations during initial court appearances.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
