Driver Clocked At More Than Twice The Limit

A Sarnia man is charged after the vehicle he was driving was clocked at more than 60 km/h over the posted speed limit.

City police say last Sunday, an officer conducting radar enforcement on Blackwell Side Road, stopped a vehicle that was travelling at 113 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

The 21-year-old driver was charged with stunt driving under the Highway Traffic Act, his car was impounded for seven days and his license seized.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
