NOVA, Enbridge Maintenance Activities

NOVA Chemicals is advising the public that some routine pipeline maintenance Tuesday and Wednesday will cause some flaring.

The company and its contractors are doing work at a compound in the area of Churchill Rd. and Vidal St. S.

NOVA says some intermittent flaring from a portable ground flare may be visible.

The information is also included in a taped audio message on the Community Awareness and Emergency Response (CAER) Industry Update Line.

Enbridge is also conducting some routine maintenance at its Plank Rd. site.

In a message on the CAER line, the company says members of the public may notice petroleum odours during the duration of the work.

There is no timeline.
