Pair Charged In Sarnia Drug Bust

Two Sarnia residents are facing drug charges after city police executed a search warrant in the 200-block of Mitton St. N on Wednesday night.

Around 10:45pm, Vice Unit officers entered the home and arrested a 37-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman.

They say a 37-year-old woman from London was also arrested on a separate warrant, and she was turned over to London police.

A search of the residence allegedly found crack cocaine, and methamphetamine worth about $1,700 along with $1,450 in cash.

Kyle Reginald Cottrelle is charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), and trafficking a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

Cynthia Denise Demarco is facing the same charges along with two counts of failing to comply with recognizance.

The pair was being held pending a bail hearing on Thursday.
