Flags Name Leadership Group For Upcoming Season

The Mooretown Flags have signed three overage players for the upcoming PJHL hockey season.

The team announced Monday that Nolan Riley, Kyle Smith, and Colton Osborne will return to the club for another year.

Riley will serve as captain while Smith and Osborne will be assistants.

Riley was third in team scoring in 2017-2018, potting 12 goals and adding 29 assists in 40 games played.

Smith had eight goals and 25 assists in 33 games, while Osborne scored three goals and had 16 assists and 107 penalty minutes on the back end.

This season will be Mark Davis' first as the Flags Head Coach after spending the past few seasons with the Sarnia Legionnaires.

Former Legionnaires forward Davis Boyer is an assistant.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
