Canadian Figure Skating Stars Coming To Sarnia

An impressive lineup of Canadian figure skating stars will perform in Sarnia this fall.

Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, Patrick Chan, Kaetlyn Osmond, Elvis Stojko, Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford will bring their "Thank You Canada Tour" to Progressive Auto Sales Arena November 2.

Tourism Sarnia-Lambton Special Events and Sports Marketing Coordinator Vicky Praill says tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am.

"We're anticipating it will be a sold-out event," says Praill. "Lots of people will love to see their heroes and people that we're used to watching [on television] at the Canadian Nationals and the Olympic Games. This will be a great tour for our community and a great tour for all the figure skating fans out there."

Tickets can be purchased online at www.sarniasting.com or by the phone at 519-541-1717 ext. 1.

The tour, which begins October 5 in Abbotsford British Columbia, will visit 30 Canadian cities from coast-to-coast.
