UPDATE: Charge Laid In Rollover Crash

A 48-year-old Forest woman has been charged in a two-vehicle crash at Vidal St. S and Talfourd St. on Tuesday morning.

Sarnia police say just before 9am, a 42-year-old Sarnia woman was driving southbound on Vidal St. when she was struck by a westbound vehicle causing her SUV to roll over onto its side.

The driver of the SUV was treated for minor injuries. The driver of the westbound vehicle was not injured but is charged with disobeying a stop sign.

Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

The intersection was closed for about an hour while traffic was being re-routed away from the scene.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
