Single-Vehicle Crash Causes Outage

A section of Lakeshore Rd. was closed and some people were without electricity after a vehicle hit a hydro pole late Wednesday morning.

The single-vehicle crash occurred on Lakeshore Rd. just west of Oil Heritage Rd. in Plympton-Wyoming.

Lambton OPP say minor injuries were reported.

The road was closed while hydro crews made repairs.

Hydro One says about 600 customers were affected by the outage and the estimated restoration time was 2:30pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
