Phaneuf Jerseys Being Raffled For Hospice

NHL hockey player Dion Phaneuf's great aunt is again holding a jersey raffle in support of Sarnia's St. Joseph's Hospice.

Wilma McNeill says Dion has donated an autographed jersey from his former team, the Ottawa Senators, and another from his current team, the LA Kings.

The sweaters will be raffled off on June 15 at the annual Bill Cannon Memorial Golf Tournament.

Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at the hospice at 475 Christina St. N or at other select locations in the city.

They'll be sold at Valumart Friday, June 8, and at Sunripe June 9 from 10am until 4pm. Tickets are also available at Milk Marc Variety Store at Michigan Ave. and Murphy Rd.

Mrs. McNeill says the eight jersey raffles held to date have raised over $27,000 for hospice programs and services.
