Corunna Convenience Store Held Up At Gunpoint

Police are looking for a suspect after an armed robbery at a convenience store in Corunna.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Sunday around 8:20pm, a man enter the store on St. Clair Pkwy. and pulled out what appeared to be a handgun before demanding money from the clerk. The man was able to make off with a quantity of cash and was last seen in a car heading east on St. Clair Blvd.

The suspect is described as a white male of average height and build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black hoodie with blue jeans and running shoes.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
