Suspect Photos Released In Corunna Robbery

Lambton OPP have released surveillance photos of a suspect as they continue to investigate last weekend's armed robbery in Corunna.

A man entered a convenience store on St. Clair Pkwy. Sunday around 8:20pm, pulled out what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.

The man was able to make off with a quantity of cash and was last seen in a car heading east on St. Clair Blvd.

The suspect is described as a white male of average height and build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black hoodie with blue jeans and running shoes.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Detective Constable Aaron Brown from the Lambton County OPP Crime Unit at 519-882-1011 or 1-888-310-1122. Those who wish to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Meantime, Sarnia police continue to investigate the armed hold up of a woman at an ATM on Trudeau Dr. that same day around 5:15pm.

Police say after the woman withdrew money she was confronted by a man whose face was covered by a black mask with white vertical stripes.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
