Teen Caught Racing Dad's Motorcycle

A male teen is charged with stunt driving after Sarnia police clocked a motorcycle travelling at more than double the speed limit Tuesday morning. The speeding motorcycle was seen by an officer at around 11:15am, heading east on Michigan Ave., east of Murphy Rd. at 110 km/h in a 50 km/h zone. The 17-year-old driver was charged with stunt driving, his license suspended for seven days and the bike, which belongs to his dad, was impounded. Police say the teen could be fined up to $2,000.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
