Woman Bit By Dog

Lambton Public Health is asking for help in locating a dog after a woman was bitten Sunday.

The health unit says it happened at around noon in the area of Davis St. and Mitton St.

The victim says a small dog, possibly a Jack Russell Terrier, was walking unattended on the street.

It's described as white, with brown and black spots, and was wearing a red collar.

Anyone with information about the dog and its owner is asked to contact Lambton Public Health.

If the animal is not found and its health status verified, the victim will have to undergo post-exposure rabies shots.
