Windsor Man Identified In Fatal St. Clair River Crash

Lambton County OPP have identified the man who died after his vehicle crashed into the St. Clair River.

Officers were dispatched to a vehicle in the river on Saturday just after 6am.

The man is identified as 69-year-old Parvez Sheikh of Windsor.

The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle.

The investigation is now complete. Police say no foul play is suspected.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
