Lambton Public Health Warns Of Vaping Effects

If you're using vaping as a healthy alternative to smoking, Lambton Public Health says you may want to think again.

The agency says while more research is needed into the impacts of vaping, the devices still contain harmful chemicals and metal particles that can cause cancer.

Health Promotion Supervisor Donna Schmidtmeyer says they're always willing to help you kick the habit.

A cessation specialist is available to offer counseling and to recommend a nicotine replacement which could include nicotine gum or a patch.

You can call Lambton Public Health at 519-383-3881 for more information.
