Wings Over Sarnia Gala Boosts Pool Campaign

This year's 1940s themed dinner and dance fundraiser was again a huge success for Pathways Health Centre for Children.

The 2nd Annual Wings Over Sarnia Gala July 13 raised over $12,000 according to Fund Development and Community Engagement Officer Tracy Drysdale.

That surpassed last year's total.

"We are just delighted that the event was so successful," says Drysdale. "We were hoping to have 200 for the dinner and we had 210 and about 90 came out for the dance so a 300 person event, we were very pleased."

Proceeds go to Pathway's pool restoration fundraiser, which has collected about $60,000 of the $1-million goal so far.

The gala was held in conjunction with a visit by B-25 bomber, Maid In The Shade, which was available during the week for tours and flights.
