Sarnia Police Recover Stolen Motorcycle, Make Arrest

A Sarnia police officer arrested a man on a stolen motorcycle earlier this week.

The officer, with the Community Orientated Police Problem Solving [COPPS] unit, spotted the bike travelling westbound on Davis St. around 1:15am on July 29.

Police say the motorcycle was grinding and jerking forward awkwardly and the rider appeared to be inexperienced.

The driver pulled into an address in the 300-block of Davis St. that was being watched by police for suspected drug activity.

A quick investigation determined the 2005 Suzuki had been stolen from a downtown apartment complex July 27.

Allan Robert Corr, 51, of Sarnia was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property and breach of probation.
