Imperial Theatre Lands Another Top Canadian Band

Another popular Canadian band is coming to Sarnia this fall.

Magic will perform October 5th at the Imperial Theatre and tickets go on sale online Friday morning at 9am. They're $49 and $59 for the first five rows.

Imperial Executive Director Brian Austin Jr. says it's hard work bringing top acts to town.

"It's pretty competitive. I've been working on this one for almost a year, I think eight months now, trying to get Magic's schedule lined up with the dates that we have."

The Imperial announced August 1st that Marianas Trench will be at the theatre in September.

Austin says the two bands add to a diverse lineup.

"[They're from] different genres and that's what we're all about here. We want to make sure there's programming for everybody here in Sarnia, and we want to prove at the Imperial Theatre, this is where entertainment happens," he says.

Most of the tickets for Marianas Trench were gone in the first ten minutes and Austin expects the same thing to happen this Friday.

He says entertainment fans should stay tuned because there's plenty of other big names coming to the theatre in the near future.
