Around 2:20am, Lambton OPP noticed a car go through a red light at the intersection of Lyndoch St. and Hill St.
After pulling the car over, police noticed the driver had been drinking. A breath sample indicated he was over twice the legal limit.
The driver has an August court date to address the allegations.
