No Injuries In Petrolia House Fire

Fire crews responded to a house fire in Petrolia Sunday afternoon.

The Petrolia and North Enniskillen Fire Department says they responded to a call at a home on North St. near Hartford St., on a report of smoke inside the home. When firefighters arrived, they noticed a fire burning in the crawl space underneath the home.

Crews were able to put the fire out quickly, then ventilate the home of smoke.

There were no reports of injuries. The Plympton-Wyoming Fire Department's Wyoming station assisted with the call.

There was no word on a damage estimate.
