High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

<p>Lambton OPP are reporting another disturbing incident that occurred on Hwy. 402 Friday evening.
 
At about 6:15pm, police responded to several complaints about a westbound transport truck towing two tanker trailers, that was being driven erratically in Warwick Township.
 
The rig was stopped near Nauvoo Rd., and the driver, Steven Leonard Cormier, 30, of Mississauga, was arrested and charged with impaired driving, and having liquor readily available.
 
Police say he provided a breath sample and was found to be twice the legal limit.
 
His driver's licence and tractor trailer were seized.
 
Cormier is to appear in Sarnia court September 10.
