City Police Search For Suspect, Stolen BMW

Sarnia police are hoping some extra sets of eyes will help them identify a suspect and locate a BMW that was stolen Wednesday morning.

The luxury vehicle was taken from a lot in the 1300-block of Exmouth St. in the early morning hours.

Police say the black, four-door, 2003 530i has the Ontario license plate ATCT619.

It has rust around the wheel wells and red accents around the headlights that make it fairly distinctive.

Police have released a photo of the same model of car and surveillance video showing the suspect as they continue their investigation.

The suspect was wearing shorts, thong sandals and riding a cruiser type bicycle with a basket up front.

Anyone with information on the stolen vehicle or suspect is asked to call Staff Sergeant Leo Murphy at 519-344-8861 ex. 6142 or Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers.
