Suspects break into Hydro One power station

Two Sarnia men have been arrested after a break-in at the Hydro One power station compound located off of Conestoga Dr.

Police said the perimeter fence to the compound was breached around 1 a.m. Tuesday morning and two men attempted to steal wiring.

Officers located two suspects and arrested them without incident.

Bradley Douglas Kelly, 18, and Alexander Albert Milam, 23, are charged with break and enter, and possession of break and enter instruments. Kelly is also facing charges of breaching probation, and failing to comply with a sentence.

Police said breaking into a high voltage compound, such as this, comes with many consequences including the risk of affecting the power supply to the area and the loss of life.
