"Members of the Sarnia Police Service along with CN Police, Lambton paramedics and Sarnia Fire responded to a collision involving a motor vehicle and a train in the area of Confederation Line and Waterworks Rd.," said Sottosanti. "The lone occupant of the vehicle was a 29-year-old female. She was ultimately transported to a London hospital where she remains with life threatening injuries."

Police said the rail crossing is controlled by crossing arms and lights.
