Four charged in Watford drug bust

Four men are facing drug and firearms charges after Lambton OPP executed a search warrant at a home on Nauvoo Road in Watford on September 6.

Police said six types of narcotics, hundreds of dollars, several electronic devices, power tools, and a shotgun with ammunition were seized.

Robert Carreiro, 47, of Watford, Steven Abram, 33, of Dawn-Euphemia, Paul O'Connell, 46, of Watford, and Kyle VanDeven, 26, of Carling Township face charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Police haven't specified what type of drugs were seized.

The investigation is ongoing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
