Loonies for Lunches raises over $6,000

The 13th annual Loonies for Lunches campaign raised just over $6,000 including voluntary employee donations of over $1,600.

Executive Director Myles Vanni said the program typically raise between $5,000 to $8,000 every year.

The two-week campaign helps the Inn of the Good Shepherd stock their shelves with lunch items for the roughly 750 kids that use the food bank every month.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
