Theft from Guardian Tree Systems investigated

Sarnia police are investigating the theft of a skid steer, trailer, and chainsaws from Guardian Tree Systems on Michigan Avenue.

Sometime between Sunday and Monday, thieves broke into the compound and stole the items along with a white International 4300 truck.

The truck was found on Fairweather Road Wednesday morning, but the other items are still unaccounted for.

The skid steer is a yellow Caterpillar model 257, while the trailer is a black dual axle Panther with Ontario licence plate R1016C.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
