Wednesday marks the first dedicated Rowan's Law Day in recognition of legislation proclaimed last March that protects individuals who sustain concussions.
Rowan was a 17-year-old athlete who died soon after suffering two concussions while playing rugby.
The new legislation provides guidelines for coaches, teachers, and parents.
The Brain Injury Association of Sarnia-Lambton at 1705 London Line provides concussion resources, services, and supports to adults and youth.
