SAT prep session Tuesday night

High school students interested in writing SAT's (Scholastic Assessment Test) can attend a preparation session at Great Lakes Secondary School Tuesday night.

Guidance counsellor Ryan Bedard will be offering tips, strategies, and general information about the standardized test.

He said some students who've attended the session over the past two years, have gone on to ace the test.

"One of our writers scored in the 99th percentile which resulted in her getting a letter of commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Program in the United States," he said.

The program begins at 7 p.m.

Bedard will be offering a practice SAT test on October 24.
