168th Brigden Fall Fair

The 168th edition of the Brigden Fall Fair gets underway on Friday and lasts through Thanksgiving Monday.

It's the last and biggest of the area's fall fairs.

The official opening is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Friday, with the truck and tractor pull being held at 7 p.m.

The annual parade is at noon on Saturday, and the midway opens at 10 a.m. each day.

Other weekend highlights include horse shows, lumberjack demonstrations, pie eating contests, cowboy races, and a pumpkin weigh-in.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
