Dementia registration day

Lambton OPP and the Sarnia-Lambton Alzheimer Society are teaming up to help protect those living with dementia.

Anyone with a family member or someone they know that suffers from Alzheimer's or dementia, can have them registered in case they were to go missing.

Statistics show that three out of five people living with the disease will go missing at some point, and half of those missing over 24 hours will be injured or die.

There is registration for those at risk at the Lambton OPP Petrolia Detachment Saturday between 10 a.m and 2 p.m.
