Dogs bite man on Blackwell Trail

Lambton Public Health is looking for two dogs and their owner after a man was bit earlier this month along Sarnia's Blackwell Trail.

Public Health Inspector Leo Aiello says the incident happened around 1 p.m. October 6.

The dogs are described as black border collies with white chests. A description of the owner was not provided.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Lambton Public health at 519-383-8331 ex. 3545 or toll-free at 1-800-667-1839.

If the dogs aren't found, the man will require post-exposure rabies shots.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
