Blue Water Bridge repairs expected

Delays were expected for traffic crossing the Blue Water Bridge into the U.S Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Michigan Department of Transportation is doing pavement repair including milling and resurfacing work at the Port Huron plaza.

Motorists can expect single and double-lane closures.

It's part of a multi-million dollar repair announced in May for the international crossing including steel corrosion and paint repairs that were conducted over the summer.

MDOT said this phase of the project will replace deteriorating pavement ahead of the winter months.
