Crime Stoppers seeking car wash thief (VIDEO)

Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers has released surveillance video of a break-in and theft at the City Centre Car Wash on October 23.

Crime Stoppers said an unknown person threw a rock through the front glass door just after 4 a.m., cleared away some shards of glass with a stick, and ran into the office.

The suspect then grabbed the "employee tip jar" and ran out the same way.

They say the incident happened in just 10 seconds.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
