Life-threatening injuries in crash near Strathroy

A woman was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a single vehicle crash around 9 a.m. Tuesday just west of Strathroy.

Middlesex OPP say a vehicle was travelling westbound on Calvert Drive near Denning Road when it lost control, and struck a metal guard rail and a tree.

Calvert Drive was closed from Denning Road to Springfield Road but re-opened around 2:30 p.m.

The OPP's Technical Collision Investigators were on scene to assist with the investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
