Norris family welcomes first local baby of 2019

A Sarnia couple has given birth to the city's first baby of 2019.

Sarnia Legionnaires GM Tom Norris and his wife Rebecca welcomed Ty Norris to the world at 1:03 p.m. on New Year's Day at Bluewater Health.

Ty is the couple's third child.

He arrived weighing 10 pounds 9 ounces.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
