Devine Street home damaged in fire

Sarnia Fire and Rescue battled another structure fire over the weekend.

Around 1 p.m Sunday, firefighters responded to a report of a fire on the outside of a home on Devine Street near Lillian Street.

Firefighters brought the fire under control quickly and kept the damage to the outside of the home.

It's believed discarded smoking materials ignited contents in a nearby recycling bin.

Damage to the three-unit home is pegged at $60,000. No injuries were reported.

It was the third fire Sarnia in the first week of the year.
