The cause of a fire at an abandoned home Sunday morning is still undetermined. Brooke Fire Rescue-Alvinston and Inwood stations along with Watford responded to Oil Springs Line, west of Nauvoo Road around 4:15 a.m. The vacant home was fully engulfed in flames and partially collapsed when firefighters arrived on scene. Lambton OPP and Lambton EMS also responded. The Ontario Fire Marshal's office has been notified while the cause is investigated. Fire officials say electrical is a possibility as hydro was still connected to the home.
