Sting deal Ruzicka to Wolves for picks

The Sarnia Sting have traded import forward Adam Ruzicka to the Sudbury Wolves in exchange for a second-round pick in 2021, and 3rd round selections in 2020 and 2021.

The 19-year-old Slovakian finishes his Sting career with 72 goals, and 83 assists over 159 games.

He was a Calgary Flames 4th round draft pick in 2017.

Sting GM Nick Sinclair said Ruzicka will be missed.

"On behalf of the entire Sarnia Sting Hockey Club, I would like to thank Adam for his commitment to our program over the past two and a half years," said Sinclair. "It has been a pleasure to watch Adam grow as a hockey player and young professional. He has been a big piece of our hockey team over the past couple of seasons and we wish him all the best going forward with Sudbury."

The OHL's trade deadline is at noon on Thursday.
