Criminal charges laid in fatal Plympton-Wyoming crash

A Sarnia woman has been charged in connection with a fatal crash last fall.

On October 25, at about 8:45 a.m, Lambton OPP say a pick-up truck travelling east on London Line and a westbound car collided near Fairweather Road.

A passenger in the pick-up, 82-year-old Mary Margaret Mullen of St. Clair Township, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck, an 85-year-old St. Clair Township man, was treated for moderate injuries in hospital.

On Friday, OPP charged 62-year-old Roberta Lillian Moore with criminal negligence causing death, criminal negligence causing bodily harm, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.

Moore also suffered moderate injuries in the crash.

She's to appear in Sarnia court on February 25, to speak to the charges.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
