Man allegedly in stolen vehicle charged with impaired by drug

A 35-year-old man of no fixed address is charged after Lambton OPP stopped an erratic driver in Lambton Shores Saturday morning.

After colliding with several snow banks on Lazy Lane, police say a grey Jeep entered a ditch on Arkona Road.

Police determined the vehicle had been reported stolen from the City of London three hours earlier.

The man is facing charges including possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drug.

He was being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
