Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries in crash

A man in his 80s was sent to London hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle at Confederation Line and Waterworks Road Monday night.

Sarnia police, Sarnia Fire and Rescue, and Lambton EMS responded to the crash around 6:10 p.m.

They said the vehicle was travelling eastbound on Confederation Line.

Confederation Line was closed from Mandaumin Road to Waterworks Road until 2 p.m. Tuesday while police investigated.
